Around 55 singers from member churches came to St Andrews, Hertford to sing for this service on Good Friday.
The choir gave a very good performance of 6 movements from Karl Jenkins’ Requiem (those not involving Japanese or other texts!) splendidly supported at the organ by Robin Coxon; Derek Harrison directed the music. There were also four hymns. Rev Bill Church led the prayers and one of the readings. He is Assistant Priest at St Andrews.
After the rehearsal, everyone went to the Hall adjacent to the church and were grateful for cups of tea/coffee and a spread of lovely cakes. All of which is in the tradition of EHCCA’s visits to member churches!
